In order to ensure that you can easily access your files from any internet connection, your My_Documents files should be moved onto OneDrive.

If you are off campus, you will need to map the My_Documents network drive to your computer while connected to the Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Copy Files to OneDrive Online

Prepare OneDrive

  1. Open OneDrive Online.
  2. Login with your WPI Credentials.
  3. Create a folder structure you'd like to move your files into.

Copy Files from My_Documents

  1. Open File Explorer.
  2. Navigate to the My_Documents folder. 
  3. Click and hold the folder - drag it into your OneDrive folder.
Note:
The files will take time to be moved into OneDrive. If you are going to delete files from your My_Documents folder, please wait until OneDrive is fully done syncing. A progress icon will appear in the upper right corner of OneDrive while folders are being copied.
