Reconfiguration of Aruba licensing is required for compliance.
This information notices is intended primarily for the small number of remote workers using an off-campus Remote Access Points (RAPs). These users will also be contacted directly. No interruptions are expected; on-campus Wireless Access Points (APs) and off-campus RAPs should continue to function.
While no interruption is anticipated, should one occur please follow the recommendations in "Details".
Users may notice:
- The AVAYA Phone screen may blink and appear to reboot.
- The two green lights on the side of the Aruba RAP may start blinking.
- There is no user action required. The RAP and phone will reconnect as rapidly as they can.
While no interruptions are expected, it is slightly possible that there will be service interruptions on APs and RAPs. The maintenance window has been scheduled to reduce the impact on RAPs, especially now that they host critical university telephones.
