Hosting a Conference from a Zoom Room
Unlike other Zoom capable classrooms on campus, "Zoom Rooms" act and appear as separate guests in a Zoom conference's list of participants. This allows users to host Zoom meetings without the need for a separate personal computer or conferencing device to be connected. To host a video conference from a Zoom Room...
- Locate the Extron display controller next to the room's screen and select "VIDEO CONF" from the list of available sources. This will display the Zoom Room's integrated conferencing system on the room's screen.
- Tap the orange "New Meeting" icon on the Logitech Tap IP controller.
- Tap "Invite" in the meeting control menu.
- Select participants from the list of contacts in the left column or send direct email invitations via. the Email tab at the top of the screen.
- After selecting the desired participants, tap the blue "Invite" icon at the top right of the screen to send the meeting invitations.
- To end the video conference, tap the red "End" icon at the bottom of the meeting control menu.

Joining a Conference from a Zoom Room
Joining a Zoom conference from a Zoom Room is no different than joining from a personal computer. To join an existing Zoom conference...
- Locate the Extron display controller next to the room's screen and select "VIDEO CONF" from the list of available sources. This will display the Zoom Room's integrated conferencing system on the room's screen.
- Tap the blue "Join" icon on the Logitech Tap IP controller.
- Enter the desired conference's meeting ID in the "Meeting ID" field, or join with a Personal Link Name. Once the respective Meeting ID or Personal Link has been entered, tap the blue "Join" icon to enter the video conference.

Inviting a Zoom Room to a Video Conference
- From a personal computer or other device, start a Zoom video conference and navigate to the "Participants" tab at the bottom of the main conference screen, and select "Invite."
- Navigate to the "Zoom Rooms" tab across the top of the invitation screen, and select the name of the classroom(s) and/or conference space(s) you wish to invite to the Zoom conference. Tap the blue "Invite" button at the bottom right of this screen to send the invitations.
- In the Zoom Room(s) previously selected, the Logitech Tap IP and Rally Bar will produce a chime tone, and display the incoming call notification. Tap the "Accept" button on the Logitech Tap IP to connect to the video conference.

Connecting a Laptop to Zoom Room Hardware
Zoom Rooms do not require a personal computer or laptop to participate in video conferences. However, if a user wishes to share content from their laptop and/or use the room's integrated AV technology (camera, display, microphone, and speakers) while hosting from their personal device...
- Locate the HDMI / USB wall plate underneath the room's display. Use these ports to connect the HDMI / USB outputs from your computer using the designated cables stored in the classroom or conference space.
- When the HDMI cable is connected to a user's laptop, the display will automatically share their screen on the room's display. Tapping the red "Stop Sharing" icon on the Logitech Tap IP will remove the laptop's screen from the room's display.
- When the USB cable is connected to a user's laptop, the camera, microphone, and speakers will be available for use through the user's Zoom application. Select "Logi Rally Bar" from the list of available sources in Zoom's "Video" and "Audio" settings menus.
